BIOL 373 - Virology Viruses infect every organism and are a fundamental driver of biologic processes. This course is an in-depth examination of the biology of viruses, focused on general virus replication strategies; specific viruses and their impacts on human health; and specialized topics in virology, including cancer virology, vaccines, and the use of viral vectors in biotechnology. Critical reading of the primary virological literature is an important element of the course.
