ECON 219 - Chinese Economy Using an interdisciplinary approach, this course provides a general survey of China’s economic reform and related public policy issues since 1978. In addition to offering a basic knowledge about the Chinese economy and its reforms in the past quarter century, the course develops a framework to help students understand and evaluate the evolution of China’s economic development strategy and public policy in recent years that has guided the country’s economic reform.
