GERM 457 - German Literature and Culture On-Site (Study Group)

Designed to create a frame of reference for students by presenting them with on-site study of German history and culture and connecting it to the present experience abroad. In addition to study trips in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, the course incorporates current theater performances, concerts, and visits to museums and art galleries. As with GERM 341, the course has two components: the pre-term weeks (in March) devoted to travel, and the term at the University of Freiburg during which regular class sessions are scheduled.
