THEA 359 - Performance II: Devised Theater Workshop A collaborative, advanced performance-based class focusing on the rehearsal of a full-length work for public performance with a faculty or guest director. Writing playsis not the only way to create theatretheater. “Devising” is a process in which the whole creative team develops a show collaboratively. The challenge of creating a show from nothing is exhilarating. W and ith this freedom comes a significant catch: there’s no script. Working this way means walking a tightrope with no safety net
