CHEM 477 - Environmental Chemistry This half-semester course uses a firm grounding in chemistry to seek answers to the complex environmental questions faced by modern society. Students use the scientific literature, public data sets, chemical modeling, and/or field or laboratory experiments to explore a topic of interest such as energy production, pollution or natural cycles and their anthropogenic perturbations.
