FMST 287 - History and Theory of Cinema Introduces students to the history of cinema and the major film theories from the 20th century to present. Students engage with all aspects of filmmaking, acquiring the appropriate cinematic language and theoretical framework to discuss and write about film. Emphasis is on the development of film analysis and critical visual thinking.
