ECON 349 - Topics in International Trade Designed to provide students with a deep understanding of international trade theories and policies. Topics include the theory of comparative advantage; trade under increasing returns; the role of firms in international trade; offshoring; welfare implications of trade policies such as tariffs and quotas; political economy of trade policies; and global trading arrangements such as NAFTA and the WTO.
