ENGL 266 - Introduction to Theater History: Rituals & Revolutions


A survey of theater history and dramatic literature from ancient practices through the early 19th century. Course readings closely consider texts from the historical global development of drama, while considering theater’s broader relationship to its historical socio-political context.
