ENGL 360 - Living Writers A master class in how works of literature come to be. Students study nine to eleven works of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and drama by contemporary writers. Each year, the list is carefully curated to bring a diversity of perspectives. In a typical week, students discuss one of the works on the syllabus with the professor on Tuesday afternoon, then meet the author on Thursday afternoon. Attendance at literary readings outside of normal class time is required. Does not fulfill 20th-21st Century period requirement.
