SOCI 353 - Housing and Homelessness Students will explore contemporary landscapes of housing and homelessness in the United States and beyond. They will investigate the roots of housing crisis and questions why homelessness persists in highly developed nations like the U.S. Using a mix of lecture and discussion, the course draws on geographical theories and tools of analysis to consider alternative housing futures, including movements for housing justice.
