ARTS 211 - Drawing (SA) An introduction to drawing through a series of studio projects, class discussions, and critiques. A variety of attitudes toward, and approaches to, drawing will be explored through viewing the works of historical and contemporary artists. The course will address fundamental drawing skills and introduce a variety of media. The careful development of images is an integral aspect of the course; observation, conceptualization, and expression will be central concerns. The student’s cost for materials is about $100.
