ENGL 204 - Native American Writers An introduction to literary study focusing on the question of what it means to identify a national tradition of literature. This course examines Native American authors of the late 20th century in relation to the works of some of their contemporaries, including works by Linda Hogan, Louise Erdrich, N. Scott Momaday, Leslie Marmon Silko, and Simon Ortiz.
