GERM 457 - German Literature and Culture (Study Group) Designed to create a frame of reference for students by presenting them with a survey of German history and culture and connecting it to the present experience abroad. In addition to study trips in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, the course incorporates current theater performances, concerts, and visits to museums and art galleries. As with GERM 341, the course has two components: the pre-term weeks (February and March) devoted to travel, and the term at Freiburg during which regular class sessions are scheduled.
