MATH 416 - Mathematical Statistics The standard methods in statistics are developed with mathematical rigor. Topics include parameter estimation, including Bayesian estimation, the Central Limit Theorem, hypothesis testing, regression, analysis of variance, and nonparametric statistics. Applications of these tools are studied, with the choice of topics determined by the instructor.
