Minor Requirements
A minor in religion consists of five courses in religion. Normally, no more than three courses at the 100 or 200 levels are permitted. The structure of the minor can be designed in consultation with the student’s adviser. As RELG 101 - The World’s Religions and RELG 102 - Religion and the Contemporary World provide excellent introductions to the study of religion; students are encouraged to take a 100-level RELG course in their first two years. The department strongly recommends that students undertaking the minor also take RELG 352 - Theory and Method in the Study of Religion.
GPA Requirement
The religion department requires a minimum GPA of 2.00 in courses chosen to count toward the minor.
