CHEM 264 - Organic Chemistry II Further study of structure, bonding, properties, and reactivity of organic molecules extended to conjugated molecules, aromatic compounds, carbonyl containing functional groups, and amines; application of a knowledge of organic reactivity to the planning of synthesis of organic compounds, including condensation polymers; characterization of organic molecules by spectroscopy; and consideration of biologically relevant organic molecules such as carbohydrates, amino acids, proteins, nucleic acids, and lipids.
